need that hands on demo to find out the potential. I hated on splatoon up until I tried the testfire, and knew from then Nintendo had a hit. so its hard to judge by visuals only.

Lmao, I guess Splatoon wasn't enough for people to not judge a game too early. Second times the charm perhaps?

Splatoon was something completely different. I wouldn't compare it to arms.

Splatoon got a very unique style and characters and a lot of content. So far, i havn't seen much besides 1 vs 1 on arms. Arms is like wii sport boxing. It will vanish into oblivion. But hey, I'm open to be proven wrong.

I'd guess that it will have difficulty breaking 1 mil. It might get there, but it wont be quick and it wont be by much. At the end of the day, Arms is still a fighting game which tends to be a smaller market than most genres and from what we've seen, it looks fun but it doesn't seem to have a ton more too it.

That said, I've been wrong before (Splatoon) and I'd love to be wrong again.
