They're colorful but not that impressive. Don't even get me started on the exchange rate.

I suppose the green money of US will always stay due to the mass media like movies. Anytime I watch a US movie and green paper like objects are flying through the air or stacked in a briefcase, then it is imprinted in my mind to be money. This is despite the fact that money could be in a different currency, I just can't seem to imagine these other countries money in a briefcase. A briefcase full of blue or red money would be odd.
It's funny, I love seeing the currencies of other countries when I travel, but I really don't like when they change our currency here in the USA lol (Orange #100's? What is this, Monopoly?)
I donno why, I just like the ol' Greenbacks.
There is ONE thing that I certainly like more about our currency here than the vast majority of currency I encounter everywhere else, and that's the feel/durability of the dollar. Not sure what it is exactly, but most other paper currency just feels like printer paper, whereas the US dollars almost have a cloth feeling to them.
Still, seeing all those colors and pictures on other currencies always feels like a sight for sore eyes, so maybe a LITTLE change would be nice.
*Edit* One thing that's become fun is to try and spot all the different anti-counterfitting shit they've packed into the dollar at this point. Seems like they add something new every few years.
I liked the good ol' Deutsche Mark. It didn't just look better than the Euro. "Haste ma 'ne Mark" also sounds way cooler than "Haste ma 'n Euro". "Zwei Makk fuffzsch" also sounds way way better than "Zwei Euro fünfzig". And so on. I never liked the name Euro. They should have called it something else. =P

Forgot some, the 1000 notes and the newer versions of the 10/25/100;

The Guilders looked better than the Euro
. Still have a 5 and both old and new versions of 10 and 25 though. Never saw a 250 in real life, those lighthouses were rare.
EDIT: Euro, though the 10 and 20 are being replaced by updated ones that show slight changes.

It's nice that you smuggled in some fake currency. I get all, but not the last. What is it? Malaysian or what?

The 50s should get replaced now in April. The others will follow, except the 500-note, it will be discontinued.
