Forums - Politics Discussion - ISIS is collapsing, war will end in 2017?

Well, ISIS is losing ground in the Middle East, but they are gaining ground elsewhere, such as the Philippines.

Lol no. War will never end until the structure of society itself changes.

I live in Brazil, and we don't have war here.

Sure it's possible. It's just that your real leadership is a weapon cartell.

Love the irony..I hope it was meant as sarcasm.

The collapse of ISIS is inevitable. The leader of ISIS will be found and executed on the spot. The death of the ISIS leader will hopefully end ISIS reign of tyranny.

This.

I just had to laugh at so much naivety. No offense. ISIS dangerous pilosophy has already infested the whole world. Their hate on the west has only grown fuelled by dangerous and outright irresponsible behaviour the western 'coalition' led by the USA and Britain have shown in the past decades, be it Iraq, Afghanistan, Lybia or Syria. We are just reaping what we sow.

The current war may end but likely the Islamic state will take over and destroy western Europe within the next 50 years. They are on the way to outbreed the local population and become the ruling majority.

Where did you hear that?! On a Trump rally?!

Believe it or not, I live in Germany/Europe and just because someone has roots in a certain ethnicity that doesn't mean he want to comquer the world. May sound strange to you, but we seem to get along quite well...Just yesterday me and a turkish guy together grabbed a Russian asshole throwing a bottle in a window so teh police could pick him up.

Most muslims are proud to live in Germany and even identify with German law and rules. So maybe, just maybe you leave your house and, even better, country once in a while and get a grip on reality, or you just shut the f up.

99% of muslims don't support those radical idiots...attention, reality check: THEY ALSO KILL MUSLIMS! Just like 99% of White people probably don't support the KKK (sadly I believe that number is wayyy too high).

Just because some sick minds tell in some propaganda videos that they want to conquer Europe doesn't mean they have a chance to succeed. What they may achieve though, is right winged societies with big brother watching every step of yours (they already have succeeded in that in certain parts like Britain for example) because people like YOU decide to surrender their open and free society and put FEAR as a higher goal as LOVE.

Get out and get to know some muslims..you'll be surprised. They're lovely people too.

Sounds like a good time to pull the troops.

Yeah, just like you do it most of the time....first destroy everything and then leave them to themselves.

Just one question....which troops are you talking about?!

If we are believing that the war is because of isis than yes.

But the problem is not isis. Condalezza rise showed the redrawn greater middle east plan in 2005. It is exactly the shape of the middle east of today. Just the kurdish areas are not big enough. Iran and turkeys part are missing.

Middle east must be reshaped. It cant work in the way it is right now.

Throwback Thursday - when CNN, BBC et al. used children to push for more war in Syria:

She was even asking for a third world war in perfect English...

There are still many issues that will not be addrssed by the terrorist groups defeat

1) Having control over much territory now, the Kurds are very unlikely to reliquish it to Iraq or Syrian. They are effectively already their own state, but its equally unlikely that Iraq or Syria will accept this Turkey certainly won't.

2) Speaking of Turkey, correct me if Im wrong but the dark green patch in the OP map in the top left betwene the 2 kurdish areas, that is occupied by Turkey. Syria and Turkey could quite easily come to blows over that is Turkey are reluctant to leave.

3) Despite the call to return, most refugees won't. That will leave Syria in particular whivh a hugely war-ravaged infrastructure with a vastly reduced population to try and aid the recovery. There won't be much progress anytime soon.

3) The terrorist group may be defeated by other rebels are still active and dug into. These included the free syria alliance as well as other islamic terrorist groups. The war will continue.

If you think the fall of ISIS means war will end then you don't quite understand how the world works.
