4 years development... worse character models than last gen (in my opinion)... What were they doing? I'm liking the gameplay, just some of the other stuff seems off. It is a spin off after all.

Don't worry they will fuck it up.
I'm more interested about their new IP that's releasing next fiscal year.

Next fiscal year is in like a week. But you really think we'll see either that or DA:4 in the next year? I don't. DA4 should have been announced by now, it's been 2,5 years since the last one. That's enough time to make a sequel of any game (or should be).

Next dragon age no, we won't see that for a while. A lot of them went and helped on andromeda. the next bioware game will be the new ip. They said they were gunna wait till after andromeda had been out for a bit to show the new ip. So I'd guess as soon as that's out they will focus on marketing dragon age 4. the team that made the mass effect trilogy is doing the new ip.
Mass effect- 3.5 year development cycle
mass effect 2- 2.5 year development cycle
mass effect 3- less than 2.5 years
New ip- 4 or 5 years so far
mass effect 2 and 3 where pretty big games(around 50 hrs to 100%) so for them to do those at such high quality in that time span is very surprising. I know there next game is supposed to be huge and building new universes takes time but it will have been in development for 5-6 years by this time next year. I fully expect to see a big reveal at e3.
