I didn't even know there had been a Bomberman game in the last 20 years. I heard about this one, so it makes sense that it sold better than games I didn't even know existed.

This is why pushing a game--any game--out for a system launch is a smart idea.

Exactly. As an owner myself, I should have waited till the price dropped. On the other hand, it's classic Bomberman and we love playing the Story Mode together. After a while of playing my gf said that it was easy to learn, yet hard to master, just like a typical Nintendo game. As I couldn't agree more I believe that this game will fit into the whole Switch library that's going to become available over the coming years quite good. And with the lack of competition it might have been a smart choice as a launch title.

Its amazing what people will buy when there's nothing else to play on a system. I'm looking at you, Knack, as well.

Wish I had gotten in instead of 1 2 Switch.  I literally booted 1 2 switch up, realized all the games weren't unlocked, and havent played it since. 

If Konami wants to make bank they'd make a new Contra for the Switch with 2-player multi Joycon play.

I'd have bought something like that in an instant.

that's actually not bad, when you cosnider the fact it's Japan only + It's a cheap game to make. The fact that it's an early console game has to do with it.

Bomberman is one of those games that i love to play from time to time. It's good to see it sold well, hopefully this motivates Konami to make more games.

But Bomberman is amazing! You can play it with 8 people and it never gets old. I played Bomberman 64 and Bomberman DS for years.

Bomberman 64 and Super Bomberman 2 had some of the best multiplayer! I can't wait for this!
