around 3.2years ago.  So since 3.2 is less then 7 gamestop means the Switch had a better launch then the x1 and ps4. interesting! good for ninty!

in 8 months it will be Nov 2017 and hit 4 year mark of the other 2 major consoles.

Where did you get seven from? The Gamestop employee said several, not seven.

It honestly doesn't mean much, but it's PR from Gamestop. We will get shipment numbers from Nintendo soon enough so we are in no rush.

Yeah, and it depends on your definition of 'several' years. 2-3 years for me is several years.

It said it was one of the strongest launches of the last few years. It never said the strongest. 

I guess Several means MORE THEN A COUPLE "2" but less then 10.

So yea the xbox 1 and ps4 are 3 years old and a couple months so they fit into the statement of several years.

Several doesn't mean 7, several is more than 2 years but not many. It also never stated strongest, so pretty pointless statement.

So what was the launch of the XBO and PS4... i cannot remember... They were around 1m right? Let's be honest here even if they only do 700 thats still going to be the best selling console for the month, and even with say a 50% drop off, they should still be in with a very good chance of winning the next as well (considering stock issues).
