So is this your new gimmick now? Highly unimpressed.

I have a feeling it got something to do with horizon launching so close to zelda. If zelda costs $60 why shouldnt horizon be

A lot of pointless click bait threads lately.

This seems like a poor attempt at a parody of the 1-2 Switch game price argument. Btw, I think a game is worth whatever people will buy it for.

I will happily buy Horizon: Zero Dawn for the price (actually have Collector's Edition pre-ordered). Whereas I wouldn't buy 1-2 Switch for 10 dollars (it is simply not the game for me).

Buy what you enjoy kids and don't let people tell you to do otherwise.

A warrior keeps death on the mind from the moment of their first breath to the moment of their last.

Corners were cut because they didnt include a multiplayer component or make the protagonist a man?

Really silly points. Also, how can you not like female characters after all the amazing female lead characters we've had in gaming?

Why do people even engage in something like this? Just move on.

The PS5 Exists.

Yeah, I don't think Guerrilla were trying hard enough, forcing us to play just a single-player game. It's too familiar as well, they're not exactly breathing any new life into the genre, even if on paper there's some pretty wild ideas. This could go down as a legendary failure. So much for trying to link robotic dinosaurs with a post apocalyptic setting.

(Ignoring that this is a joke thread)

More important will be the quality of that single player experience. I am inclined to support single-player focused RPG's and action games where I can. But will still only buy a high quality game.

In this case it will be very telling if the review embargo ends significantly prior to release date. All the tripe developers have rolled out in the past doesn't apply here (reviewers need to wait until there are enough people online for the full experience, our servers aren't going up until game day etc). If the review embargo ends the night before release or something stupid like that, its a clear sign the game is not what it has been made out to be.

Even if it weren't, on principle I'd not buy the game until it was significantly cheaper, so as not to support the practice.

Without a doubt, a lot of corners were cut during the development process of Horizon: Zero Dawn. So I pose the question: Charging $60 for all of this, is that really a fair price?

Depends on the amount of mini games they add... can we milk something in Horizon?
