i can honestly say i've never used a web browser on a console at all. why would you? i have a tablet and a laptop for that

When I justbought the Wii U, I was trying it because the touch screen was awesome. But without that toich screen I probably would barely use it.

Well first who uses the web browser on a console? Second it's always something they can add in, even like with the Wii were it was a WiiWare title.

You have a point, but this is a handheld with a capacitive phone-like touchscreen perfect for web browsing. This could've became the primary portable device for many people, if functions like this, Netflix and Voice chat were actually included.

Bet with Intrinsic:

The Switch will outsell 3DS (based on VGchartz numbers), according to me, while Intrinsic thinks the opposite will hold true. One month avatar control for the loser's avatar.

Eh, not really important to me. I use my phone or laptop for browsing. I'm sure that Nintendo also wanted to avoid any browser hacks at launch.

This actually really worries me since for me to access my internet that is provided by my apartment complex, it makes me put in a password and username. In order for me to do that, I have to access a web browser to put it in. There is no way around it for my phone, Wii U, 3DS, laptop, I have too access a web browser. I have no idea what Nintendo plans to do to accommodate a situation like mine.

Good point. There's like free wifi on these malls here in Australia, And you have to sign in via their website. Im not sure even if it had a web browser that it would work. Because don't you need to close it to play the game?

I don't use web browsers on consoles, but this is still funny.

I used it for porn actually...

Whilst I don't care about a browser on the Switch and I doubt anyone does to be fair but it's a basic feature that really should be there for the few who would use it.

Love the justification for it. People need to learn that Nintendo just knows better what people want. I mean look at the Wii U with its browser and tell me how that went.

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

I never use web browsers on a console. They are typically awful clunky and don't support a good amount of stuff.
