i have both and i stopped playing both of them,
GOW for the psp is good and that new zelda DS game looks good,
i think both have equally good and bad games
Since the DS has almost all Third Party Support on it's side, I'd say DS.
Not to be a fanboy (I don't even own a DS) but... isn't it obvious DS has more good games? I'm willing to bet DS has 4 times as many games as the PSP, and while a good part of that is crap, it also has many good games. DS has all the third party support + all the Nintendo games, you can't beat that.
I thought even "hardcore" gamers acknowledged that the DS has the best software of any system this generation?
There is no way to definitiely say which has better games. Both have great games that will apeall to a different audience. For my money, the DS has a better library hands down. Not even close to a competition honestly. The PSP still has a ton of great games though. They just aren't what I typically enjoy. Your mileage will vary.
What kind of games are you looking for? If you like Nintendo as a publisher, and you like quirky little titles as well as all of the solid conventional titles specific to the DS, go with that.
If you are looking for a powerful little piece of technology that has great games out now and more great games coming (both quirky and conventional), the PSP is a good bet. Looking at Sony's first party PSP stuff is probably a good idea.
If you are a more traditional gamer, the PSP might be better. If you like a different kind of console experience, like with the Wii, then the DS might be right.
We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a salt shaker half full of cocaine, a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers…Also a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether and two dozen amyls. The only thing that really worried me was the ether. There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge. –Raoul Duke
It is hard to shed anything but crocodile tears over White House speechwriter Patrick Buchanan's tragic analysis of the Nixon debacle. "It's like Sisyphus," he said. "We rolled the rock all the way up the mountain...and it rolled right back down on us...." Neither Sisyphus nor the commander of the Light Brigade nor Pat Buchanan had the time or any real inclination to question what they were doing...a martyr, to the bitter end, to a "flawed" cause and a narrow, atavistic concept of conservative politics that has done more damage to itself and the country in less than six years than its liberal enemies could have done in two or three decades. -Hunter S. Thompson
Well best is subjective. I'd say the DS mainly because of the sheer volume of games. But the PSP definitely has its gems.
Heres how i see it
DS - gets most of the RPGs and 2D graphics
PSP - Gets the most of the games in 3D and action adventure-ish
