If anything is overpriced it's the 3DS lol. With the hardware that's inside it, it should not cost more than $70. It's barely more powerful than a PSP.

It has low price, sub 100 for the 2DS and sub 200 for all the others. It has wide appeal, people can buy it for one game without second thoughts, parents can buy it for their children  easily.

The Switch has been priced out of the family market and out of the second console market, just like the Wii U was.

This is not a confirmed thing, which the title seems to claim. It's very much possible, but it's far from confirmed.

I think it would be a good idea to have the rumored Pokemon Stars to be cross-gen.

It could sell something like 5-6 million on 3DS and 2-3 million on Switch then have Gen 8 exclusive to Switch in 2019.

Do you believe that Pokemon Sun/Moon would have sold 15 millions on Wii U? You are badly mistaken.

This comparison is so bad I won't even bother trying to argue why, as I imagine with a bit of thought you can realize it on your own.

It's not bad. Pokemon on an overpriced failed console would sell much less. There is notmuch to debate about it.

Yes, that is true. However, it still doesn't make your comparison be any better when it comes to the argument of Pokémon on the Switch.

If Switch is failing then Pokemon wouldn't save it because the reasons if is failing would still be there.

Switch needs to be a success before Nintendo makes a Pokemon for it, otherwise they are losing money.

You can argue it like you want, but there is only one fact:

Pokemon would sold much more on 3DS than on Switch. Do you believe that Pokemon Sun/Moon would have sold 15 millions on Wii U? You are badly mistaken.

Pokemon on a failing and overpriced console = sales slashed by two or four. Talks about Pokemon on Switch are greatly premature and if it selling like the Wii U, the new handheld will come and take the prize.

Unless you have future vision then that's not a fact. For all we know Switch could go on to sell the same or way more than the 3DS. That the 3DS will have a larger installbase than the Switch atleast for a time is a fact, but also a fact is how that isn't stopping Nintendo from bringing games to Switch instead of 3DS, again I bring up 3D Mario.

Also you do know 7-10 million sales (pretty much guaranteed minimum for Pokemon) is still an extremely good number, so they will definitely be happy with that if it greatly helps the Switch become successful.

It could be a great success or a great failure. Nobody knows, even Nintendo. But they know that on 3DS it sells 15 millions. They did not bring Pokemon to Wii U.

Using your logic Gamefreak should have never stopped developing Pokémon games for the DS...

That's what I just said, so you saying it's guaranteed to sell more on 3DS than Switch is false. They also know that 3D Mario on 3DS sells 10 million.

So what? The Wii U isn't portable so of course it didn't get Pokemon, nor has any home console.
