Two different issues with two different solutions - visa overstays should be easier to track, after all people with visas are fully registered with name, photo and likely fingerprints.

I understand the idea behind it. No county wants a flood of illegal immigrants into your county. even if said country is made up of 99% of people descended from immigrants anyway.

But I feel it's a waste of money and that illegal immigrants will still get in easily. Don't they have tunnels under the border for smuggling people.

The wall is only part of addressing illegal immgration. We also have hundreds of cities that ignore federal laws and our last president didn't care.

Build a wall (maybe not absolutely neccessary but wanted), enforce exising laws, and security miraculously improves.

Lol, Mexico is not East Germany, it is another country, another language, another culture, and thousands and thousands of Narco sicarios bringging hell and death every single day to the US: flakka, crack cocaine, krokodil, you name it.
It will be amazing for mexicans as well: good honest mexican worker will try to make in their own homeland, and make Mexico a better place in the process.
I always say: do not move, just clean your own house.

Again, the wall is just part of security.

For those that overstay their visa, enforce existing laws. Less illegals coming could also open the door for allowing more to stay legally.

Edit:  For the record, while "the wall" is a good idea in theory, in reality I'm not in favor of it because I know it's going to end up costing way more than estimated (as most government run projects do, especially in the construction biz), and our resources are much better spent on increasing the border patrol and enforcing existing immigration laws.

1. Racism is subjective. I'm hispanic and didn't feel attacked.

2. Obama did mass deportation, millions of criminal illegals.

3. All presidents promise this one way or another.

4. More anti-terrorist than anti-muslim. Much of these attacks just happen to commited by muslims.

5. Immigrants can be a burden, we're seeing other countires share that view.

6. The IDs thing was a loaded question. He didn't say he would do it, he just said he wouldn't rule it out. Hence, it wasn't really on his agenda. Quite frankly, a lot Muslims make it pretty obvious they're Muslims.
