I'm really curious how this year will go, switch looks interesting, don't really know how it will do world wide...microsoft will release scorpio...and sony counter with amazing secret games...i think this year e3 will be again very big

Also, why is everyone saying it'll do good in Japan? It's way too overpriced to do good anywhere.

It's too underpowered to be a home console and it's too overpriced (and huge in size) to be a handheld. There is no market for this except for the few Nintendo faithful that bought the Wii U.

Before the conference, I was expecting Switch to be the best thing in a long time, but now, I expect it to flop. Hard.

No chance the Switch comes close to PS4 sales in 2017, yet alone XOne/ Scorpio. 

So it's gonna sell like the Wii, in other words? There is zero grounds for thinking that. You should be happy if it beats the Xbox One by any amount, but I can't see it coming close to the PS4 for the CY.

So, it seems the boards are really torn on the Switch, some making claims that it will sell less than the Wii U and others going in the opposite direction and claiming equally ludicrous things like it will sell like the Wii.

In my opinion, Sony built the Slim and the Pro with a price war in mind. I don't think Nintendo (or MS) are going to have it all their way this Christmas.

Not gonna happen. Unfortunately, Nintendo has made some silly mistakes, so it is impossible. Also, I don't think any console this gen will outsell PS4 any year
