Forums - Gaming Discussion - So Emily Rogers and Eurogamer were creating fake news and fake rumors?

Let's see:

- A female Link ? Fail.

- A delayed Zelda BOW not at Switch launch ? Fail

- New Mario at Switch launch? Fail

-- Beyond Good and Evil 2 on Switch revealed the 13 January? Fail

- Pokemon Star?  Fail

I read elsewhere Emily Rogers/ Laura Dale were just getting rumours from 4chan (not yesterday's 4chan rumours that were actually correct)

Not sure about Eurogamer, it's not usual for them to be so wrong, they're normally very good with leaks

How many of them did Eurogamer have? I know they had the zelda delay wrong but did they mention the others?

And don't forget lauren kate dale

PC Specs: CPU: 7800X3D || GPU: Strix 4090 || RAM: 32GB DDR5 6000 || Main SSD: WD 2TB SN850

Read an article yesterday about one of the leakers and how she was nervous because the event would help validate her or embarrass her.

Guess it embarrassed her huh?

What eurogamer rumors were wrong?

Emily Rogers work for Eurogamer.

She announced female link, Mario at launch, Zelda delayed and others at Eurogames announced BGE2 presented by Ubisoft on 13 January and Pokemon Stars.

Pokemon will happen. They have to spread the good news through the year.
But yeah, just say no to "leakers" and insiders.

My grammar errors are justified by the fact that I am a brazilian living in Brazil. I am also very stupid.

Firstly Link?

Secondly, there is a difference between an employee working for the company and the company posting something. If Emily does work for Eurogamer but Eurogamer doesn't actually write articles about her so called "leaks," then are tweets from Emily are not representative of Eurogamer...

Yeah.It just go to shows that we should NEVER take rumours at face value, not matter their track record.

My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.

Obviously you haven't paid attention to what Gamefreak said:

http://www.forbes.com/sites/olliebarder/2016/12/16/game-freak-may-wait-and-see-with-the-nintendo-switch-before-releasing-a-new-pokemon-game-on-it/#21046a3f6409

They will wait and see if the console is selling well or not before developping on it.

People expecting an exclusive main Pokemon game to a very small fanbase on a 330 euros console will be proved wrong. They won't accept to sell only a couple of million on Switch when they can sell 15 millions on 3DS.
