Its not supposed to make them that expensive, it always work like this : 1$= 1€ for Electronic devices.

But in this case they dont even allow US to buy it at 300€ ( which would still be higher than thé dollar pricd but normal like any other console )

But the Euro isn't nearly as strong as it once was. The USD used to be traded much lower, but it went from 1.5:1 to like 1.1:1.

There's are a myriad of factors why the Switch should be priced the way it is, and none of are Nintendo's fault. Take VAT out and then compare to US prices.

The Switch is the most expensive console of the three, and also the least powerful.

But you can take it anywhere, and it has tiny wiimotes, yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh....

I think maybe the price will go down, because the backlash has been huge, just not from players, but from all media. They all said that the price of the Switch is crazy.

Thing is, I still think Nintendo is making a mistake by not selling a version of Switch without the dock, grip and straps.
