And I assure you Carl, there are no more or less ignorant people among conservatives than other groups. The only thing that varies is what they're ignorant about. People have plenty of ignorance to go around.

In any case, if you two want to continue this discussion, you'll do it privately. CGI has addressed the issue, and how we'll handle use of the word tranny moving forward, and that's that. As far as we're concerned, this is settled. Whether we'll continue to allow certain individuals to continue creating political threads is still under review, and we'll be monitoring the situation to determine the best way to proceed.

The mod team generously leaves it at edits to his threads without any penalties (as seen above in Bandorr's post) while the community's hands get tied by rules that prevent it to call him out. Should it happen anyway, then the community receives a penalty (as seen with vivster's ban). Simply put, the role of the mod team in this scheme is the one of an involuntary supporter of a political agenda; the mod team acts as an enabler, as a tool, without realizing an underlying connection between events because the overall interest in political threads is so low that no close attention is paid to what's going on.

Ban notes are usually a matter of public record. ka-pi's was vaporized very quickly due to an additional ban being administered mere moments after the initial ban. It's a fair question, no?

Rol asked about the warning that was given, not his initial ban. Warnings aren't public by default so I'm not going to post the warning (however innocuous it may be) without permission from CGI or Ryuu.
