You mean on par like the Wii U which wasn't deemed good enough by third parties? Being on par with the XB1 wouldn't cut it at this point because the PS4 Pro is already out and Scorpio isn't far away. If you want a Nintendo system where third parties can't say "not good enough", then you don't get around PS4 Pro level of performance, because the XB1 level is going to be treated as an afterthought in the not-so-distant future.

I have never heard anything about such surveys.

Nintendo consoles will never be "good enough" for third parties, and this has nothing to do with the hardware. It's about the royalties that Nintendo isn't isn't interested in discounting (or rid off completely) for the third party blockbusters. However, when there's enough money to be made, the ports will be there, which is why we had Call of Duty games on NDS.

And I really don't get the logic why in the hell there should be one more device to play PC games, it's not like we already had enough of them. Historically speaking, it wasn't until the 7th generation to have PC games on consoles other than a port here and there. If you want 3rd party games/ports, you should be looking at the devs on mobile. If I'd be Nintendo, I'd try to have as many indie/mobile/new dev as possible under your umbrella and publish their games in second party relationship as timed exclusives - the same way Nintendo did with NES.

Generally speaking, the PS4 does good and gets the praise for it. Vita on the other hand may be another story, but it's not the subject.

It happens to all three companies all the time. The latest hate from fanboys directed at Sony is hating on PSVR and Pro.

My point is that Sony is by far the most successful at the moment and it still gets hate. It's not a problem that only Nintendo has which a lot a people are trying to make out. 

So that's why I believe a successful Switch will not slow down the hate for Nintendo that much.

My main problem with Nintendo today is not because I hate them, it's because I think they are doing the bare minimum, and that they could do so much better, and they should do so much better, also they really don't give any shit about their fans.

If they change that, of course I will cut them some slack, and so will a lot of people.

I guess you don't have a Wii U. There's pretty much nothing for a Nintendo fan, and virtually all the games, no matter if it's on disc or download, starts with an update the first time.

Even if their presentation is perfect in every aspect, people will find a way to criticize them, lol.

Serious of course. I wasn't counting in Virtual Console, if that's what you mean. It's definately fan service, but it would be nice to have games with tight arcade gameplay and fresh content - both of what Nintendo is the most famous for.
