Tell me I'm not the only one who laughed
Very terrible thing that happened to you but the way you wrote it was hilarious to me for some reason. Get buff, find him again, and don't do the bullet ant thing, just beat him up or something. Or like you said, bedbugs. Those are the worst, I wouldn't wish those on my worst enemy.
| Ganoncrotch said: Jesus that's terrible, sorry to hear about your exp and during the holiday season too, I guess some people are really fucking short of money for drugs. I would just say one thing Onion, you are 22 years old, I would maybe consider putting a small bit of time into this such as considering walking with company or just even making sure if you are walking somewhere it isn't alone (quiet streets) but really you have gone 1/4 of your life without experiencing something like this so the chances of it happening to you again are lower now than before, I'm just saying from a statistical point of view you have had your run in with a criminal prick (hopefully) and I think it would just be letting him win more so if you focus more on it and invest a ton of time and energy into getting a Gun to bring with you or spending a load of time on self defense lessons. The lessons are not a bad thing to do if you happen to have the time and want to meet new people though! even just going to those might help you find people to walk about with during this sort of scenario so it would protect you more than the lessons themselves, but really don't let scum effect your life more by changing how you live because of them. (except maybe change to something less easy to snatch like inside pockets or a backpack) Sorry again for the encounter you had though. fucking assholes everywhere. |
yeah for me violence was a thing of the news and movies, I mean I'm not stupid it's real and I see it everyday, but never from my point of view. So now I feel the need to defend myself and some lessons are necessary
Oh my god! You seem to be handling the situation rather well. Hope you are OK. I can empathize. I have been assaulted from behind while waiting for a ride. And had a night-long confrontation, starting with a guy trying to steal my bike, me driving him off, and culminating in getting stabbed in the back with a screwdriver by the same fucking guy. Getting pulled into that world suuuuucks. Rambling. Again. Just hope you can chill with friends/family, and are doing well in spite of what happened.

When you start talking knifes and guns you better be prepared to kill and live with it. because if you attempt to kill it will aggravate the attacker and you end up dead. Also who know what gear they are packing on them. Pepper spray is useful, perhaps also one of those noise alarm you can buy. It makes a lot of noise when you pull the pin out (similar to grenade pin). That would most likely spook them off as they don't want to be seen committing a crime and they just run away. My wife used to do taekwondo and got to a 1st dan. but because she didn't keep practicing for over 10 years due to an injury from competition she is basically useless in defense anyway against a man because she is weak and small and not as quick and agile as she was. You will need to keep up the training and tone up some muscles. I'm sure you be able to take some down with a few lessons, but if you don't maintain training your false sense of security thinking you can take anyone down when in reality you can't will hurt you. When you are out at night carry light. By that i mean keep your credit card and phone in pocket and don't bring a purse or handbag. Or use your handbag as a decoy, and carry the important things on your body. I suggest you move to Canada or Australia. Less violence. |
Yeah I think I will buy pepper spray, I don't wanna kill, better spray, a kick to the nuts and run.

I guess that life is going to do the work for me and he will face the consequence of his acts
Glad to hear you are alright, given the possibilities of the situation.

Yeah if you feel that way and would feel safer then go for it, like I said those classes can be great just as a place to meet people and maybe even just talk to others who have had similar experiences to you so it would be a good way to chat about it (and not with people on the internets) but still I just mean don't invest a ton of time and money changing your whole life because of one asshole on the street in a chance encounter.
Really sorry again that it caught you off guard though, awful experience to have happen, go go though, head to your bank website and get those Credit cards cancelled (if you haven't already)
