Getting the first Xbox for Christmas. For games I had Sega GT 2002, Splinter Cell, and Jet Set Radio Future. My sister and I spent endless hours playing JSRF, the soundtrack was phenomenal and so memorable. I loved booting up that Xbox and seeing that almost alien-like theming. Nothing was like that first Xbox. I knew I had the best in gaming.

I'll comment my others later, but this was my first and one of the best for sure.

That pulsing green heart in the middle of the Xbox console, quite the powerful looking console startup.

In comparison to

Okay I'm cheating and that is the Easter Egg startup but still, funny comparison!

The other intros didn't exactly exude an image of power, either (even though the console itself was quite capable).

Playing Halo 3 split screen online.

It was definitely launching Tales of Vesperia for the first time...

halo 3 - 4 player campaign mode was amazing from start to finish. 7 hour sessions on that.

Phantasy Star Universe - online gaming was amazing and no worries of hacking like the Dreamcast games during that time spent on there.

Firing halo up for the first time in 2001 when me and my brothers brought the original Xbox home.

360: blue dragon, beautiful katamari, eternal sonata, ace combat 6, gears of war 1, halo 3, forza 2, ridge racer 5, so many great memories on 360.

X1? Forza horizon 3. And the controller.

buying xbox 360 on launch day waaaaaay back in 2005 and playing Condemned criminal origins. Graphics blow me away. Then a few months later getting Oblivion. That game was so ahead off its time tbh and amazed me at the time

Halo 3.
Playing custom zombie maps with randoms. Good times.

I LOVE ICELAND!

When I picked up a 360 it was my first experience of a decent wireless controller (my first experience was my friends infrared wireless controller for the Sega Megadrive which was awful).
Then I played Dead Rising and was blown away by the cutscenes and also the amount of zombies on screen at the same time.
It was the first time I played a multi-player game. Played WWE online and was screamed at by some grown man to 'GET BACK IN THE RING TRIPLE H! GET BACK IN THE RING!'.

I had great times and first experiences with the 360.

Trying out Star Wars Obi-Wan at the mall on the original Xbox then later on my 13th birthday I got the console and the game(I was also given Turok Evolution and Godzilla Destroy All Monsters for the Gamecube).

Proud to be a Californian.
