That is my question.  A comment on the linked article said they were all published by the same company in Japan.  Some company called Unity Games Japan apparently.

Odd.  They take those 5 games down, and that is about a third of everything they ever published.

This will happen to all games on all console platforms eventually. This is why i avoid digital, you never really own the game it's just yours until they cut the service. Checking these games they are also available on other platforms so it will be interesting to see if they get cut from them as well.

uhm if you bought them, they are yours. They are just being taken down from the store.

By downloading and not deleting them while the store is still working. The store hasn't to exist for you to play a downloaded game. Just make sure it's saved somewhere locally.

Physical master race :)

You can still download old games that have been taken down if you've bought them when available - but yeah, physical is always the way to go if you have the option.
