Yes because they hate being called the name of some one they hate and are in conflict of.  Its cultural, same way no korea or chinse wants to be called Japanese.

Wolrd of difference between an abbrevaition and derived.  Unlike racists like you i dont automatically consider all brown peopel pakis, so why would i call a brown guy paki unless i know hes from pakistan ?

I was going to let it slide because from your English you sound like maybe you are not a native English speaker and wouldn't understand, but for some its like saying Nip or Chinaman to a Chinese person. If you are a native English speaker gawwwwwd damn you have some of the worst English I've ever seen on this board, your English teacher should be slapped.
