Forums - Politics Discussion - Trump: 'Nobody Really Knows' If Climate Change Is Real

So did no one bother to look this up?

http://climate.nasa.gov/evidence/

Highest levels of CO2 in 500,000 years.... I bet a graph like that for methane molekyle, would be the same.

Its amusing. Your house could be on fire, and I'm thinking that some of you would still be saying 'Prove it.'

This is "Cress":

That grew without a wireless internet router in a room:

This is Cress that grew in a room with a wireless internet router:

Just wait 20 years.... infertility because of mobile & internet routers, will be much higher than today.

"Prove it"

^ by then its too late, damage done.

I have to ask this because I am unsure.

Is this post satirical? I just mean on the base level of how you could effectively use a Wifi router to grow cress out of... while it's still functional as a router.

Considering Trump's (And most of his supporters' stance on immigration, then they really don't want to fuck around with climate change.

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/earth/environment/climatechange/7710229/Climate-change-could-make-half-the-world-uninhabitable.html

If this happens, and it's already started:

http://www.cnn.com/2016/12/07/africa/sudan-climate-change/

So if there is any chance we are accelerating it and/or there's ANYTHING we can do to slow it down, we should take it. Otherwise there will be a LOT of people looking to move to YOUR country were things like food and water are available.

Sure, it's true that the earth's climate has always changed. But it's only been habitable by humans in this particular, specific climate. Once that goes, so will all of us. We should do our best to keep it stable or earth will straight up murder all of us.

I wouldn't be surprised if that is what he wants. Then he can jack up the price on everything and make even more money for his businesses. Of course this is short sighted and eventually it will run out everywhere, but until then I'm sure he'll feel like king of the world. Heck being king of the world might be his ultimate goal for all we know.

Kinda like a stupid version of Little Finger. Watch the world burn as long as he gets to be king of the ashes.

Its the "prove it" point.

"nobody really knows" like Trump says...

Its almost as bad as big tobaco saying for years that smokeing didnt cause cancer.

Now the new thing is, infertility/brain cancer, due to smart phones, and wireless routers.

However its going to take 50years or so until, they prove it by showing how many people have gotten it since then.

Just like with smokeing.

No its not satire.

If you have a wireless router in a room, and you try to plant Cress somewhere in the room.

They dont grow (right, small amounts and the ones that due are deform).

Its a simple science experiment done at as a school project.

From a strictly scientific standpoint Trump is right, no one really knows. The only thing we know is that before the next ice age can be happening, all ice on the poles needs to completely melt.

I still think that environmental protection and pollution prevention are very important but we may not be able to change the climate because the natural processes are just too complex, powerful ant self-compensatory. But the CO2 models used to simulate the warming of the planet seem to be wrong. If the climate changes, this is not caused by CO2.

This is the experiment reported on, rather than basing it off a study done with a very clear motive for end result, do it yourself, get some cotton wool and cress seeds and plant them, on your router, you've have lovely cress to add to sandwichs over Christmas!

Also if you use a wifi analyser now pretty much anywhere you'll find there is no where you could test growing cress where it wouldn't be in range of 2.4 and 5.0ghz wifi signals.

the bitter irony of that video is that he is arguing "earth's processes are waaay too complex and not understood well enough to make predictions", but shows a single chart of the global atmospheric temperature anomaly (I suppose -  the chart actually doesn't say what it's about, so for all we know it could be from how warm his piss is each year - highly unscientific) to say "very little has changed"

yet there _are_ dramatic changes in the size of the northpole icecap, in the acidity of the oceans (> much more CO2 has been stored), the amount of permafrost soil that began thawing, the local temperature anomaly around the north pole, length of the hurricane and taifun seasons and average storm strength, extent of glaciers around the world, ..........

and it's funny he spends a large portion of the video saying how politcians and activists try to make money from climate alarmism, but doesn't utter a single word about scientists that have been bought by big Oil and other industries to influence politics/public opinion in their favor  - now I wonder why that is

Thank you.  I was about to say much the same.

This experiment was replicated by others and almost universally found no replication of the results.  Both controls and variables grew the same.  To replicate their results, many people had to intentionally harm the integrity of the variable.

I actually didnt know that, is that true?

first googled result I checked:  https://cressinfo.com/wifi-experiment/

Seem to point to there being a effect, just not nearly as drastic as that of the danish school's test.

Breitbart... how's it different from any other echo-chamber out there that's supposedly part of the establishment?

It's not an echo chamber...

It's not something better either...

Anyone who voted for this idiot...smh
