A big pro for me are the cartridges. On PS4 and PC my hard drive space gets eaten up so damn fast! 2 TB in PS4? Completely full and I haven't even installed all my games. 8 TB in my PC, about 1 TB free. 1 TB in my Notebook, 100 GB free, it's insane! I always have to decide which games I want to keep and which I delete. Ugh. With the switch, I have these nice little cartridges and all my games available for playing at any time, even with no internet at all. Just like in the old days. I like that very much.

Yeah, good luck with that. For the Switch you will probably have 64 - 200 GB storage space instead of 2 TB for your PS4 or 8 TB for your PC.

If a few multiplatform games need a 10-GB-patch, that flash memory will go down very fast.

Do you think that EA, Ubisoft or other third party publishers put extra effort in the Switch-patches to keep them smaller than the lazy patches for the other versions?

Their friends were on those platforms because of the aforementioned problems - problems that persisted on the Wii U in branding and in application. I promise that I'm ignoring nothing.

THe Switch is still gonna have problems, nevermind that it most likely will be an inferior version, but lets say it isnt. It still is competing with systems that have already been established for some years now. WHo would really buy a Switch version of COD (if they make one) when all their friends are def not gonna be playing the Switch version?

The Switch will definitely have the inferior version in terms of specs. No one is arguing otherwise.

But it will have the superior version in terms of convenience, and that does have selling power. Who's to say that some of their friends won't buy the Switch version. If their friends buy the Switch too, there's no reason yet to believe that they "def" wouldn't buy the Switch version.

This, I think is the most likely achilles heel for the Switch.

If the game is good then yes.

PS4Pro.

I would say just PS4 if i didnt cave into a pro with a nice deal.

Almost all on the PS4.
Depends on the game. For example, NBA would be on the Switch so that I can ball out in the game after I balled out with my squad. Right there on the court.

e=mc^2

Gaming on: PS4 Pro, Switch, SNES Mini, Wii U, PC (i5-7400, GTX 1060)

Let's stop with the storage myth.

Game Cartridge + 32GB (internal) + 256GB (SD card)

+

4TB Portable Hard Drive or 1TB Flash Drive

Even at 50GB/game that's 80+ games using current HD/SD cards.

1TB and 2TB SD cards are on their way. 8TB portable HD are already here but less portable than 2 x 4TB. It doesn't have to be plugged in all the time, only when you choose to play another of your 150+ game library.

You can even get portable HDs with a power bank to recharge the Switch otg.

Nov 2016 - NES outsells PS1 (JP)

Don't Play Stationary 4 ever. Switch!

The Switch uses maxwell based Tegra x1 (380 Gflops in Fp32) so its similar powerfull as the wii u

whats convinent of having a game like COD on the go? You wouldnt be able to play it online while moving around so there goes the main reason why people would even play that game. So they might as well just get the version for whatever system they already have and play it at home, especially if the Switch version will be worse even if played at home.
