I will only consider 3D platformers. The first Jak and Daxter is honestly up there with the best 3D platformers ever but then I don't want to talk about the sequels. Donkey Kong hasn't evolved since 64 unlike Mario so it can't be that. Rayman 2 was awesome and then rest was irrelevant. Kind of weird that it pretty much only leaves Ratchet & Clank that's still trying to be somewhat ambitious. I want series like Kirby, Donkey Kong and Rayman to pick up where they left off on the N64 lol

Yes! That is the best part. Its like a racing game where you race mopeds. Or a shooter where you shoot ink out of super soakers.
