Outstanding! What am I saying? More than oustanding!

Finally my long awaited ps4 sell-through figure.
Also, I'm looking forward to EA giving us the aggregate of xb1+ps4 sales like last year, to infer xb1 sales by doing maths... ;)

EA Predicted last month that by the end of 2016 PS4+XBO sales would reach 80 million units.

So if we assume EA are somewhat accurate we're probably looking at 55 Million PS4's and 25 Million XBO's. Give or take a million each. Assuming VGC is accurate for XBO, 25 million is far too low though. So EA have likely underestimated.

Wouldnt be surprised if it ended up like ;

PS4 : 54m 

XB1 : 26m

By the end of 2016.

Xbox is soon to be, if not already, doubled by the PS4.

PS gets another taste of that sweet sweet PS2 success and decides screw it, $249 PS4's FOR ALL TILL NEW YEARS!

That and going back up to $299 gives XB1S waaay to much breathing room in North America.



PS1   - ! - We must build a console that can alert our enemies.

PS2  - @- We must build a console that offers online living room gaming.

PS3   - #- We must build a console that’s powerful, social, costs and does everything.

PS4   - $- We must build a console that’s affordable, charges for services, and pumps out exclusives.

PRO  -%-We must build a console that's VR ready, checkerboard upscales, and sells but a fraction of the money printer.

PS5   - ^ -We must build a console that’s a generational cross product, with RT lighting, and price hiking.

PRO  -&- We must build a console that Super Res upscales and continues the cost increases.

Depends on how low will that price go.  Its still damn pricey for amny markets if not on some special sale.

Would agree if not for PS4 line up.  

Plus Pro will be cheaper then Scorpio.

Really? 50 million in the three most expensive years (price wise) the console is on the market makes you think it cannot equal that in the next 4-7 years the console is likely to be produced? Many are saying 2016 likely won't be the best year for sales for the PS4. It just seems like a given to me that it's going to sell at least 100 million based on historical sales trends.

 2017 will be PS4's peak year, I think. 20 - 25 million solid during the 2017 year should be very likely, especially if God of War, Spider-Man, and Death Stranding release next year.
