EA Predicted last month that by the end of 2016 PS4+XBO sales would reach 80 million units.

So if we assume EA are somewhat accurate we're probably looking at 55 Million PS4's and 25 Million XBO's. Give or take a million each. Assuming VGC is accurate for XBO, 25 million is far too low though. So EA have likely underestimated.

Wouldnt be surprised if it ended up like ;

PS4 : 54m 

XB1 : 26m

By the end of 2016.

Xbox is soon to be, if not already, doubled by the PS4.
