Samsung 65JS9500. That's no gaming TV though since there are no 4k gaming TVs. My consoles are plugged into my Dell side monitor.

55" Sony bravia OLED. extremely low input lag even in game mode. One of the best non 4k TV'S ever made. A true beast.

Unless I am mistaken, there is no such thing as a Sony OLED TV...

Sorry I meant led.

55'' 1080p act3D SAMSUNG UE55F7000. 3.5 years together. Now I'm looking for 65'' 4K/HDR TV preferably with active 3D support (Yes, I still like to watch 3D-movies)). The next one most likely will be SAMSUNG or SONY. Less likely Panasonic or Sharp.

LG, 43", 1080p. Probably one of the cheapest decent models I could get, but I've been pretty happy with it. The only complaint I have is bad connections. One HDMI port? Pff. Because of that, I've recently learned that reliable HDMI switches seem to be quite scarce.

Samsung PN51F5500AF 51" 1080p plasma. Got it on sale for $599 about 3 years ago when the last of the plasma's were being put out to pasture. Came with all the regular smart features and has a low 85w typical power consumption.

Amazing TV overall for that price. Has game mode with 35ms response time, which isn't great, but also far from horrible for a plasma TV. Allows me to to get that CRT feel, with those inky blacks, and enjoy anything I want to watch or play. While nothing looks the best or the worst, it all looks good not matter what I'm using it for.

Burn in hasn't been an issue at all. Image retention was more of a "worry" for the first six months, but since then, even after hours of straight gaming, just 5-10 minutes of a TV show, or the screen wipe process, and its right back to normal. Haven't noticed any screen degradation yet either.

PS1   - ! - We must build a console that can alert our enemies.

PS2  - @- We must build a console that offers online living room gaming.

PS3   - #- We must build a console that’s powerful, social, costs and does everything.

PS4   - $- We must build a console that’s affordable, charges for services, and pumps out exclusives.

PRO  -%-We must build a console that's VR ready, checkerboard upscales, and sells but a fraction of the money printer.

PS5   - ^ -We must build a console that’s a generational cross product, with RT lighting, and price hiking.

PRO  -&- We must build a console that Super Res upscales and continues the cost increases.

Sony and Samsung.

Edit: I want a Sony  for my 4KTV but Samsung is cheaper so I'll probably go with them.

Edit2 : current tv is some brand called Spectre, was a cheap 32" 1080p tv when I bought it like 4 or 5 year ago. Think it was like $220 when I bought it.

You shouldn't change your TV. That is a kickass brand name.

Samsung, Sony & LG seem to be winning by a large margin.

Is this represetitive of the overall TV market space? or do gamers just like these brands more?

We have two LG ones... so... yeah.

I have a 37" LG Full HD TV which I bought in 2010. For 499 €, it was a steal back then. People try to convince me that I need a new one, because it's old, it doesn't have any smart functions, it doesn't have this, it doesn't have that. But I'm fine with it and I'll use it until it's dead. I'm not falling for all the ad buzzwords, sorry.

In the bedroom, I have a 24" LG Full HD TV. I think I got that in 2012 or 2013.

On my PC, I have a crazy fast 144 Hz Full HD display from Asus. It is packed with GSync and it is really a pleasure to work and play with it. Input Lag isn't an issue here, I hever never played more responsive.

HiSense. I bought a 43 inch (bigger won't fit in my appartment) UHD HDR TV.
After being extremely satisfied of my chinese tablet (Teclast x89plus), and reading HiSense tv reviews I tought I might as well go for a chinese TV.
I got it for 400 euros. It's far from the best, but I wouldn't spend more in a TV.
