Forums - Nintendo - Pokemon Sun/Moon initial shipments above 10m: 3DS record

Whats crazy is 10mil is not only bery high but might not be the entire day 1 launch shipments. Europe must still have a few retailers that dont have the game shipped yet. Since it comes out in a week still

This is what the Europeans deserve They break the world wide release date every time Pokemon has one... Like, literally every single time. It's like whoever runs their game stores is retarded and thinks there isn't any ramifications for doing that XD GameFreak got fed up with it. The only people to blame are the European game stores that caused everyone else there to suffer the consequences

Yeah, but the ones paying for it are the consumers, the stores are going to sell the games anyway.

Like I said, blame the stores. Hopefully GF will give them another chance and theyll listen this time x.x It's one thing for a store or 2 to do that. But when the entire country (Was it all the UK or just England?) does it, it looks bad x.x

So what usually happens if the shipment doesn't get sold? I know it will sell over 10M but this shipment will last a long, long time.

No its not. Nintendo isnt overshipping this. Lets not take positive news and spin it pls. We all kno your post history, just save it for the love of Arceus

Edit: When nintendo reports this game has shipped over 14mil (maybe more?) by years end, youll say something similar to your above post and not admit your wrong with this. You did the same with XY

Probably not.Sun and Moon is the most preordered game in nintendo history, and that was 3 weeks ago, so a 6 million sales day one is pratically garanteed, with more than that very likely. That shipment is probably going to last 2 weeks top.

My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.

X and Y shipped 12million till 31dec , Sun and Moon tracking way higher than previous entries so 10mil probably for launch week and Nintendo always used a safety approach with games shipment they didn't simply ship something that took so long to finish selling their shipment  .

But then it did less than 4M in the next 9 months.

After a whopping 12mil. How many games even do 4mil lifetime? Can you pls stop ✋ We kno you hate pokemon jezuzz

That seems like an impressive number, and going by the buzz this game's been getting, Sun/Moon is likely going to sell well past those number, so I can see why they'd ship that many copies.

Can't wait to get my copy tomorrow!

Well i just come back fro midnight launch.

Pretty much everyone bought both versions. some people bought 4 copies (2 standard and 2 limited editions).

It s the biggest midnight launch I have seen for a Nintendo game.

Normally the que clears in 10-15mins. Today they made evryone pay before 10pm. There was 12 lines being served simultaneously.
