So you want them to keep punishing Wii U owners.  The ones that stuck with them during the 8th gen.

No, I want them to not punish Switch owners who bought the console to experience BotW in higher fidelity.

Have they said that BOTW will be better on the Switch?

I'm actually relieved because it doesn't sound too much like the game encountered several development problems... It's just up to the polishing because of how expansive BOTW is.

If they release a 3D Mario on Switch launch, it's actually a good idea to let a gap of 2-3 months between the games so they don't cannibalize each other.

Breath of the Wild is by far the most ambitious Nintendo title yet, and the new physics engine and sandbox systems will mean the game requires a huge amount of testing to get it up to Nintendo's usual polished standards.

The only bright side of all these delays to me is that Nintendo will have a ready-made engine to use towards the creation of games of a similar scope to BotW.  That alone should significantly lower the development times for those games compared to BotW.

So 2017 til the next delay?

If it's delayed please don't push it to 2017 Christmas :(
A few extra months won't kill me but Christmas might

OK... this is interesting. SO what will be the massive AAA launch title? We need something big Nintendo. Change it up with Luigi's Mansion 3 or a new 3D Mario and Im still buying the system day 1

Vote the Mayor for Mayor!

My poor Wii U still waits. TPHD was nice though.

The big launch game better not be something like Nintendo Land 2 then.

It's absolutely Mario 3D. Everywhere they say the game's ready for launch, and it's been 4 years since the last 3D Mario game.
