Surely we can expect patches to improve it, and technical hickups are to be expected seeing this is the first time a mid gen upgrade has been done. It's only going to get improved.
But damn is it a shame, no 4K bluray, these problems, the not so Slim PS4, Sony dropped the ball. I'd rather had a $499 Pro.
Will still get the Pro, hoping for a good BF deal.

It's the solution that they adopted for it that's the issue. CoD IW is a pristine example of a AAA game that performs exceptionally well with expected PS4 Pro features (checkerboard 4K and all). The incompetence of Ubisoft is to blame here. These guys are becoming worse than Bethesda when it comes to QA. That's no small feat.
According to someone on Reddit, 1.06 is in certification and has the fix for the frame-rate issues.
The PS5 Exists.
Sony sorta f'd up with the Pro and the Slim. As a shareholder I'm dissapointed, as a consumer I'm sorta less dissapointed because I wasn't interested regardless, but it's still a shame.

Btw, framerate issues is one thing, the tearing is the other big problem.

I hope this is the case. I'm sure a friendly mod can change the thread title if it is. The last thing people on this site want is the spreading of misinformation.

According to the video analysis, there is full evidence that watch dogs 2 runs the game best on the base PS4. Even the analyts state the same. That is just fact. If a patch fixes the issue ..great but nothing here is spreading misinformation. I don't make this up. It's all in the video.
