Very impressive numbers for the XB 1.

Made a bet with LipeJJ and HylianYoshi that the XB1 will reach 30 million before Wii U reaches 15 million. Loser has to get avatar picked by winner for 6 months (or if I lose, either 6 months avatar control for both Lipe and Hylian, or my patrick avatar comes back forever).

About 30-40k higher for the Xone than I expected, I wouldn't be too surprised if it took November as well, due to the number of deals available for it. I expect it, ps4 and 3ds to all have a good month, though.

It's a bit disappointing how far off Amazon was as a predictor last month, however, really leaves us without a good sense of the market save for the NPD reports.

I don't know. I wouldn't count PS4 out just yet.  I think Amazon is going to end up being accurate this month.  The problem with Oct is there was either lack of stock of the Gears Bundle or a glitch in counting it in the Top 100.  However, the other retailers showed a different picture, with the XBO doing better than the PS4.  Looking at the other retailers, now, shows a change in Nov. These are the Top 50 in video games overal, though I will only be looking at PS4 and XBO HW.

Gamestop: #12 - PS4 Pro, #26 - XBO Gears + Forza, #28 - PS4 COD, #29 - XBO Gears Ultimate Ed, #34 - XBO Gears + Rare Replay, #35 - PS4 Pro + PSVR

Walmart: #1 - PS4 COD, #4 - XBO Gears, #5 - XBO Minecraft, #6 - XBO BF1, #8 - XBO The Division, #9 - PS4 UC4, #12 - PS4 Pro, #31 - XBO BF1 SE, #38 - Gears SE, #40 - PS4 COD + GTA, #41 - XBO BF1 SE

Target: #6 - PS4 UC4, #7 - PS4 UC4, #9 - XBO Halo, #12 - XBO BF1, #17 - PS4 Pro

Best Buy - #1 - PS4 Pro, #5 PS4 UC4, #16 - XBO BF1, #17 XBO BF1, #29 - XBO Gears, #30 - XBO Minecraft, #41 XBO Madden

To me, the only one you can make a good case that the XBO leads in is Walmart, while the others it looks like the PS4 has a lead.

Gears 4 I can't believe didn't come second.

Numbers don't include digital sales so we don't know if it is not second including digital.

And before the discussion about digital sales picks up, from the NPD insider from GAF:

"Those digital shares are inching up now. The 30% number Mr. Jorgensen [EA's CFO] put out there still a good baseline, but we're now seeing titles come in even stronger digitally."

Why PS4 software rose more ? i believe Halo released in last Oct that could be one reason XBOX one is seeing less increase as GOW cant match Halo numbers..

so we dont have PS4 hardware numbers yet?

Larger install base = multiplats will see a bigger spike in revenue.
