I'm quite concerned that Sony is the most trusted company in America...

Hav these people been keeping up with current events? Or was this poll taken 5 years ago? Or perhaps these people are just gullible? Say what you like about the PS3, anyone who says that Sony is the most trusted company in the world needs to seriously pay a bit more attention to the real world.

Sony's track record. - Beta-Max - Mini-Disc - PS2's crappy quality construction & Plastic parts - Infamous PS2 Blue Disc - Malicious Root-Kits discretely put in Music CDs - Eye Toy - The PSX - Largest Lithium-Ion Battery Recall In History - Massive Digital Camera Recall - the UMD format - The failed use of the UMD as a movie format - Poor design of PSP - Plans to make PS3 game discs unplayable on all but one PS3. - The PS3!!! - Six-Axis - PS3 in Europe not being reverse compatible - PS3 HDMI compatibility only working with less than 10% of HD TVs on the market. - Jack Trenton - Square-Enix threatening not to develop anymore for the PS3 if Sony doesn't lower the MRSP - Namco threatening not to develop anymore for the PS3 if their games don't sell a certain number on it. - 2 Billion dollar loss - Company Excutives at Sony forced to buy up Sony stock as investors jump ship. - The PS4 allegedly going to have download only games.

Oh but for fairness lets look at Nintendo's track record. - Made SNES officially no blood. - Told off major third party developers at SNES' end. - Virtual Boy - Made N64 cartidge based. - N64DD - Developed Kiddy Crap image over time. - Gamecube lost more developers. - E-Scanner for GBA

Why I just honestly don't like Sony .... I would say, way I love wii, come on all the thing you are telling are BS, and I agree with you nintendo is like apple, they produce low tech products that are cheap and white. I own a wii and I can tell you that the cube was better and I'm not able to play any game for more then 30 minutes, I feel stupid moving around like that, if you want to move, go outside and actually play tennis or something.

 wow.. horrid reasons. Plus the HDMI part isnt Sony fault. Its the TVs are complatible with HDCP rules. Which all HDTVs have to by 2009 anyways.

Sony, Sony, SONY TSK TSK TSK. You see, Sony is like the bully of the electronics world. They beat you up and get your lunch money for crappy equipment. When you call consumer services and say that it didn't work from the begining and you need a receipt and you dont have one because you TRUSTED the brand you have to buy another one. Why? Cos they make inferior products, boost up the price and claim to take us out of the ghetto of the gaming world. Now Nintendo was the underdog for two generations straight and they've been kicking ass lately. Nintendo is a gaming company...nothing else. They started when they made hanafuda cards during the meiji era. Nintendo will never die...ever.
