Hmm I guess my friends and I never really bothered to notice which is better, we always just play the latest one until a new one comes out then play that one. Also a lot of my friends that play this are also girls and they don't play a variety of video games so they're not really picky, they seem to enjoy them all.

It was a good game with questionable (and somewhat broken) controls. That was my only real negative with the game. Otherwise, it was fun the entire time.

DMC: Devil May Cry. It's not a masterpiece or anything, but its a very good game that's far from the betrayal of the series that some fans made it out to be because Dante wasn't the same character as before.

The character was the tip of the iceburg. It's the fact the combos are dumb and the story was cringy and not in a B movie fun way. Art design is awful. Dante is no longer witty,just some bro trying way to hard to sound tough. I was pulling off S ranks by mashing buttons. DMC you can't do that. If it was it's own game it would have been just average game with some merits on it's own but as a DMC game yeah it's truly awful.
