Wii- 72 million 3rd Year Peak, better slate of releases
360- 37 million Should trend down slightly after 3rd year peak
PS3- 29 million Sales should pick up next year, 3rd year peak and price cut

Back in February, someone mentioned that it would due worse than GameCube (In VGC Discord, I should have taken a screen shot of it). So even with people waiting and have more details, some make wild assertions.

I mean, I don't really blame OP. After the Wii U and the weird initial reception of Switch, it seemed kind of hard conceding the machine would perform decently, let alone being an all around success.
My bet with The_Liquid_Laser: I think the Switch won't surpass the PS2 as the best selling system of all time. If it does, I'll play a game of a list that The_Liquid_Laser will provide, I will have to play it for 50 hours or complete it, whatever comes first.
The funny thing about these threads is not them being brought up later on it's when in years to come people deny that such modes of thinking ever existed like when people wrote off platforms like the PS1, DS and Wii only to later on say that no one ever did such a thing when the platform has long taken off.
