Wasn't the neo already sold out on Amazon Japan and Amazon Germany?

the ps pro is going to be a very hot toy for gamers and is going to sell well, I'm talking about the general public like cousins moms and gamers overall. The announcement was not that impactful.

Let's agree to disagree on that one, to me and many others those consoles where kind of a big deal.

for me too, I'm going to buy a ps4 pro. I just feel like the nintendo switch was more "wow" for people, analyzing social media and people around me who are not hardcore gamers and don't visit internet forums

Quick!

Someone make a parody thread called "Stop Defending Nintendo" and link this thread in the OP in some witty way.

Pokemon isn't Nintendo, so that part doesn't make a lot of sense, but investors had been begging Nintendo for years to go strong into mobile. If Nintendo was being unpredictable there, it was because they didn't do it sooner.

Also, you forgot to list the "Wii U will flop" predictions and the "Switch will be a hybrid" predictions.

"Nintendo Switch blows the minds of gamers, mainstream and casual public"

It's a gaming tablet that connects to the television. Unless it ends up being Nvidia's very latest technology, it's not blowing very many minds yet.

I mean, I got caught in the Pokemon Go hype, but admittedly, it's kinda shitty.

Didn't blow my mind but I am very interested on how it will perform and just to get more information about it. Right now, it just looks weak compared to PS4Pro and even the XB1 S and even more so against the Scorpio. It also looks like more of a handheld than a console. Obviously, hardcore fans of Nintendo will get the console (as any hardcore fan of any company would) but will casual audiences hop off the PS4 and XB1 to go over to Switch? I'm not so sure, I just cannot see it replicating the success of the Wii but it probably doesn't need to sell like that, just sell better than the Wii U. Still, I think most people who have the money will be able to afford a Switch and a PS4/XB1 (or good PC for that matter)

At this point, there is very little that Nintendo can do for me to pick up one of their home consoles...except maybe release Super Mario RPG 2: Legend of the EIGHT stars, COME ON NINTENDO/SQUARE ENIX!
