What match are you excited for at WWE Payback 2017?

Neville vs. Austin Aries ... 1 5.88%

Randy Orton vs. Bray Wyat... 3 17.65%

The Hardy Boyz vs. Cesaro... 3 17.65%

Kevin Owens vs. Chris Jer... 4 23.53%

Bayley vs. Alexa Bliss (Raw Women's Title) 3 17.65%

Seth Rollins vs. Samoa Joe 1 5.88%

Roman Reigns vs. Braun Strowman 2 11.76%

Total:17

Ugh. They sacrificed the Undertaker's streak for this? If Goldberg doesn't have a proper WWE run after this to pass on that torch, that match will have been a disaster.

Overall Survivor Series 2016 was alright. Would rate it with 6-7/10.
Miz vs Zayn and Kalisto vs Kendrick were good matches but had lame endings.
The Team Raw vs Team SmackDown Women/Tag Team matches were alright, especially the ending of the Tag Team match was nice.
The Team Raw vs Team SmackDown Men match was good, the Shield reunion was fantastic but the moment when Ambrose came back to attack Styles was so unnecessary and made no sense. Should be stripped of his title match at TLC. But maybe this was a teaser for Shield vs The Club at Royal Rumble 2017? That would be cool!
I have no words for the Goldberg vs Lesnar match. Goldberg squashed Lesnar again after 12 years!!! This 1 minute was awesome but it also felt kind of awkward too with Goldberg being 49 years old. Don't know what to think about this. ^^

Lesnar vs Goldberg III will happen in the future!

Braun needs a bit more seasoning.  He should really look into Vader's library.

Lesnar doesn't get paid that, no one probably does.  WWE doesn't give salaries out, it's all speculation at best (Read the same list)

WWE screwed up big time with Reigns.  "Like him because we tell you" isn't going to work...

I'm not actually against that ending.  It' what Goldberg does best.  Kudos for Goldberg looking like he's 30

Did you get the line from Strowman to Ellsworth, "don't I know you"

Considering they were both part of Adam Roses Rosebuds for a while lol, wonder if this was a nod to the two Wrestlers time spent partying!

And yeah Reigns stuff really just seemed like they were trying to have a repeat of John Cena, where the crowd all cheers or boos him but they're all invested in some way , but with Reigns inability to sell moves done to him it's very tough to care at all, he needs a storyline where he has to be the one you cheer for, put him in a match versus someone completely awful, not HHH manufactured bad guy but someone that crowds dislike 100% the very worst case scenario of doing that will be you get someone over with the crowd by pitting them against Reigns, fuck it you could just use him as that, just use him to get over people with the crowd you who just want to be super baby faces, by having them even lose to Reigns for weeks at a time, you'll still be getting something out fo the guy.

I don't know what they can really do for Reigns.  I was going to say he needs to get injured so he can get off camera.  But then I rememered that happened already and that made things worse.  I mean, when push comes to shove, Cena can cut an amazing promo, and if he "wants" he can chain wrestle, or put on an entertaining match.  Cena's actually pretty versatile in the ring.  I can't say the same for Roman.  He can't cut a promo and he can't put a match together.  WWE just doesn't understand this.  Roman needs to rebuild and I'm not sure what WWE can do to fix this.  They tried with Russev, and Reigns still screwed that up.  When you have Lana on a mouthpiece and you're (Reigns) coming off as a heel, something is very wrong.

For those that talk about age, time off, and the weight of Takers streak, you are taking it to serious. WWE is not real, it is a living comic story. These guys are Superman, Batman, Hulk, spiderman etc., that is what makes it so special. Brock Lesnar was an evil super villan that took out all of the other super heroes (John Cena, Randy Orton, Dean Ambrose), he even beat the super villans (Triple H, Roman Reigns) that joined the fight to stop this ultimate evil. Then the legendary hero, Goldberg was summoned, and he defeated the ultimate evil.

It didn't matter that Goldberg was 49, because in the world of WWE, he still possess his super human strength. He is the legend of legends. Now, Brock has been changed. He can br written to have snaped out of an evil trance. Or he can become human and beatable again. Or many, many other scenarios.

At the end of the day, just like the headlines said, it is fantasy warfare. Enjoy it.

The one (main thing) about him that I can't stand, he can't sell moves or story to save his life, he can't act hurt either in ring or after a match is done, when he showed up on the after show less than an hour after he came out of Hell in a Cell after getting his US title he was just back to 100% mode talking about going after his next belt, absolutely no-selling the devils structure, was one of the most painful promo's I've seen him in.

I guess a reform of the shield could try to spread some of Dean and Seths crowd love back onto Roman, but as soon as he was on his own again they'll most likely just all turn on him when he puts on his Never Give Up 2.0 sweatbands, and rightly so tbh.

Reigns should have been what Corbin is now.

I don't know how many people watched Corbin when he first started on NXT but he was trying to do this "cool badass" character and it wasn't working. It was very much the same as the Reigns character. So what did they do? They turned him heel and he took off. Still pretty much the same character, too, they just got rid of the babyface awkwardness.

Otherwise, the audience won't accept him. That negative "first impression" is going to stick for a very long time.

My personal opinion of him is that he's excellent in car crash matches that involve exploding tables but mediocre inside the ring. As a character, I just can't get invested in him. The Rock was successful as a cocky, arrogant face because he was funny and oozing with charisma. Reigns lacks those attributes, which just leaves him with the cocky and arrogant part.

That segment with Shane, Ambrose, Becky, Natalia, and Alexis was gold.

I'm still laughing.

Smackdown is so much better than RAW and it's a lot deeper than just RAW lasting an eternity.

Yeah.  Everything just makes sense.  Kane vs Corbin made sense.  Callisto came in and it made sense.  Kallisto snapping and wanting revenge using the chair makes sense.  I don't even want to watch Raw if Jericho isn't in a segment.

I wonder is it that the extra hour of Raw just makes it harder to properly compact it down into an enjoyable story, if you have basically 20 minutes of "Story" for your weekly wrestling show, dragging it out to 2 hours is fine with matches and comedy here and there, but at 3 hours I've almost always found myself just losing interest by the main event of Raw which is the part which should be most exciting but I'm just so bored by then it's lost on me I find.
