Yes, you're just kidding. But when somebody else posts a much more innocuous comment about Metroid Federation Force, they get this crap from you: "Not nearly as busy as you shitting bout games you are not interested on, from a company you don't care about, on consoles you will never had." Meanwhile, you buzz around every article I click on and shit on everything. I don't know how the fuck you get away with it, but the "just kidding" shtick will only carry you so far. Good job on the volume of t*******  you have pulled of thus far though!

Context, that user goes into every Nintendo thread to shit about things he don´t care about and has expressed more than once how much pleasure he gets form all their failure, context.

I'm kidding about a game because I think it looks bad, and I have the right to joke about that, I´m not hating on any company because it gives me pleasure, I just think this game is bad, and looking at public and critics reception, it doesn't look like that's an unpopular opinion right now. Now if I knew a joke like that would have offended him this way I wouln't make it, but there is no offense in the comment itself.

Hey quote me in the reply if you're gonna talk about me. Don't do it from behind my back and no I don't do that. I rarely even post in half of the Nintendo threads on this site. And when I do, I don't undermine others opinions.

Yeah yeah sure you weren't. Gonna leave before this gets uglier.

Ok after trying the game out myself my own pc i can say the game runs fine for me.
With everything maxed at 1080P im getting 40-55fps.
However it does have drops down to 10fps sometimes when its loading in an area but it only lasts for a few secs before bouncing back up again.
But!, i only messed around for about 40 mins on the first planet. So im not sure how it is once you start flying around etc.
And also i noticed i cant record the game. When i try my frame rate does drop to 15-20fps!, and maybe this is whats happening with lots of them streamers. They should try the game without streaming since i think it has a problem here.

Streaming/recording is CPU taxing, and this game is likely CPU bound so that makes sense.

The issue has been dealt with, so I would advise moving ahead and refraining from dragging the thread further off topic by giving it any more attention, thanks!

Least they are doing something about it:

"No Man's Sky Support
Whilst many people are enjoying No Man's Sky, we are tracking several issues, and we’re working hard to resolve them as quickly as possible.

1. We have updated our support page with some common issues and workarounds http://www.no-mans-sky.com/2016/08/pc-support/
2. We have updated the auto response from support@hellogames.co.uk to help suggest common fixes, and help gather better info
3. We have filed tickets for everyone who has mailed support and are responding to them in turn.
4. We have gotten back to a lot of people already, who were trying to run the game significantly below min spec.
5. Additionally your bug reports have shown us a handful of key issues we are working to resolve

We’re pulling an all nighter to get through as many issues as soon as possible. Please try to be nice :)

We have been working to get back to people on our three most common crashes on start up:
• Running the game with an Intel card. This is not supported
• No Man's Sky is an OpenGL 4.5 game, and requires latest drivers on most cards, please update
• VC++ Redist 2010 was not included by default. We have updated in a patch, please restart

We are going to create an experimental branch with hot fixes for these most common known issues:
• Shader Cache issue – means that framerate is initially stuttering on some cards. Whilst it resolves itself over time (~1 hour of play), we will fix this issue in a patch.
• SSE 4 – for CPUs that do not support SSE 4, it is causing the game to crash on boot (some of these area technically below min spec, but we don’t want it to crash!)
• Mouse controls jitter on foot – this caused by a combination of certain resolution and GFX card. A fix is in progress.

Some players who have filed a support ticket will begin to be directed towards the experimental branch whilst we test solutions to these issues.

If your issues are not listed above please do mail support@hellogames.co.uk"

They might have most issues fixed by monday provided they work very hard

Let's hope that this won't end in the same situation as Batman: Arkham Knight on PC.

I have a GTX 780 ti, an i7 4770, and 16 gigs DDR5 RAM.
The game runs at about 25 fps and has PS2-era textures.

Quality.

When you look at the reviews and what they're saying, it looks like it was overhyped period.

I fear, while for unrelated reasons, Final Fantasy XV will shate the same fate.

I agree, although I don't know if it's as hyped as NMS was. FF hasn't had those expectations since probably FF12.. maybe FF13.

They don't have the luxury that WB had to just throw their hands up and decide to do nothing and ingore the platform almost entirely the way WB did. It would kill quite a lot of HG's rep if they took the WB route, they have to sort out the game or face the wrath.
