I would argue, that a lot of people also predicted PS4 really highly as well, just as much negative was people being overly positive. I actually was really close about my first week prediction of ps4 back in the day (wish i had that thread somewhere), but I remember some overshooting by insane amount. Given one person on this site, predicted Vita outselling 3DS, so pretty sure outliers exist.
Like I said, it both sides. So we do some what both agree. I also think some people are in rude awakening soon with the Ps3 vs Ps4. I still hope that Ps4 does pass the 10 million mark however.

If you want to get the last word in, that's fine, but don't provoke him in the process. Not sure how you thought this post would help resolve this conversation.
For the record, I agree with Acevil here that the comparison isn't apt. Well...I suppose anything can be compared, but if you're going to claim one platform is dominating another, be prepared for similar comments when the tables are turned. Either they can be compared, or they can't...just be consistent. That goes for everyone.

This is true. People were also doom and gloom when 3DS was doing bad in Japan (like getting outsold by PSP). People will always jump to conclusions.

It's the dominant home console in Japan and that's a fact.
3DS is the dominant handheld.
And smartphone gaming is the dominant market.
All facts.
So both 3DS and ps4 have dominated their respective markets this year. So calling ps4 domination is perfectly fine.
After being tested sternly last gen by 360 + Wii in Japan it's impressive how much the ps4 has nailed down this market. Especially when it's got so much left to give.

You comment every week but clearly you don't bother reading the threads. It's been well documented that the ps4 is under going supply issues for the next few weeks. Nobody knows why exactly but speculation is a new ps4 model coming. Neo or slim or both.

Um, not exactly a fact either, since total wise PS4 is still actually behind the Wii U. Also I hope people are aware, Wii was compared to ps2, not gamecube, you do know what that means right? You do know the comparison that does begin when the ps4 does pass wii U, hint it won't be the PS3, it will be that other console, you know the market leader last generation in Japan. So consider this person not impressed.
Thank god the 3DS is still above 20k in this dry season!!
