Truth is, in here and in other forums people were predicting that PS4(before it's launch) will sell 4 million in it's lifetime in Japan and will never outsell PS3 or WiiU. Now it's selling more than PS3 and will sell more than people predicted. And while this is not something to brag about the same people who were all doom and gloom about PS4 now will not say ''we were wrong'' but continue the whole ''doom and gloom'' only with a different excuse, comparing it with a handheld and such. They were doing damage control before and now they continue. People should stop letting their favorite companies influence their minds and have an open mind about this things, that's my opinion. |
I would argue, that a lot of people also predicted PS4 really highly as well, just as much negative was people being overly positive. I actually was really close about my first week prediction of ps4 back in the day (wish i had that thread somewhere), but I remember some overshooting by insane amount. Given one person on this site, predicted Vita outselling 3DS, so pretty sure outliers exist.
Like I said, it both sides. So we do some what both agree. I also think some people are in rude awakening soon with the Ps3 vs Ps4. I still hope that Ps4 does pass the 10 million mark however.
