You have to remember the greatest Turkey has ever been is during the Ottoman ages. I.e. When it was an Islamic country. Mustafa Atatürk is seen by many turks as a secularist anti Muslim puppet helped into power by the west. His legacy for many Muslim Turks has been oppression against Muslim Turks. 

Essentially he was the exact opposite of Erdogan. They both accomplished some great things and they both screwed over a lot of their country men and women. 

If this gets worse, it will literally come full circle as this whole Islamic extremism began when the Ottoman Empire was dissolved and secular and Conservative Muslim leaders as well as dictators who were friends of the west were put in charge. The irony of it all will be beyond 9000!

Protests in Brussels by Erdogans supporters in front of the Turkish Embassy. Some other reports aswell like violence but could be made up waiting for more information.

All my video feeds just show masses of Erdogan supporters hugging armymen riding in their tanks, as if it all was over and settled.

I don't believe the coupists are doing much resistance at this point as some people claim.

They already lost. Why would they fight and just risk to get even harsher sentences?

Most obvious piece of theater i've ever seen, reminds of the burning of the Reichstag in 1933. Erdogan will use this to solidify his power.

1. They underestimated the enormous support by people in favor of Erdogan (probably inside the military aswell).

2. It's staged by Erdogan.

I believe in the first explanation.

And yes, if this was a genuine coup and it failed, it will be huge in strengthening Erdogan's power.
