Does Turkey have death penalty? If not they should use force majeure and execute all the coupist traitors under military jurisdiction.

Erdogan fans in Belgium are trying to invade a office of Gülen. Gülen is in the opposition in Turkey and are being blamed for the Coup...  Expecting similar reactions in other European countries.

The turkish immigrant population in Belgium, what do you think the support is for Erdogan versus the opposition? 40-60?

In Belgium/Netherlands around 70% voted for Erdogan.

Wow. I thought they were leaning towards the more liberal side. But perhaps it's the effect of being an immigrant, you tend to become more nationalist and positive to your old country.

Erdogan has been undermining democracy for years. He needs to go even if the coup fails

But it will be the exact opposite. Perfect opportunity and excuse to cleanse out even more of the opposition and put them in jail.

"Look at what happens if you don't allow me to be tough against the instigators".

Yeah, which is why I'm hoping the coup succeeds

Isn't Turkey an Islamic country? They almost certainly do have a death penalty

If this picture is real, the coup will fail miserably as the people Turkish public seem to like Erdogan.

People forget, many Turkish people were oppressed when Turkey went secular after the fall of the Ottoman Empire. The turks i knew when I used to live in Germany used to tell my family about how they were oppressed by a secular government if seen to be practicing their faith or showing their faith. They would harass and beat people for wearing a scarf or having a beard. Not sure how true it is, but if that had any truth, Erdogan might have more supporters than the west has led us to believe.
