micro transactions

plus Fire Emblem is suposed to come this year as well

Which not everyone getting the game buys into. Nintendo was already dissatisfied with what they made from Miitomo.

Good.

More Nintendo on my smartphones, please.

I love how this site suddenly stops being so aggressive towards smartphones gaming

Not me!

If Pokemon Go manages to reach 50 million downloads only a fraction of those users need to spend $ on it make serious $$$$$$.

I also hate micro transactions and don't like most mobile games with touch controller inputs, but stategy games could work very well on smartphones.

This game has just been released in Australia, New Zealand and Japan and all I've been seeing on my Facebook is everyone talking about it, seen people at my work walking around playing it, people on the bus playing it. I've never seen this for any of mobile game, i played it briefly but didn't like it, the casuals are loving it tho.

Yeah maybe you should wait some time before declaring it a hit. Miitomo was also declared hit and then disappeared from the charts.

I know "pokemon" and all, but so were Miis and Nintendo itself insanely popular during the Wii era.

Except MIIs haven't been that popular for years while Pokemon is as popular as 15 years ago, you only need to watch the sales of its games.

Accept it alredy, this is a hit.

Nah Miis aren't even comparable, this game is huge! I can see this being very popular for some time and they've only just begun

That Apple Maps jab was funny.
And good to see that mobile is not the hell and could be funny sometimes.

Can't wait to see FE and AC on mobiles.

The question is, Will Nintendo's Smartphone games generate more income then their dedicated hardware business?

No, their mobile games are free.

Well, Miitomo has in-app-purchases.

Nah! My FB feed is dominated by it. My friends liking memes and events keeps popping up. Not sure when the last game was that done this.

Pocky Lover Boy!

Yeah it has even invaded other games.

Been #1 grossing game despite having one of the worst launches of any game I've tried to play. Game is down for several hours each day, but it's holding steady. Nintendo has a huge hit on their hands. Just have to support it and add some more content to flesh it out.

And snuggle the girls be they short or tall,
Then follow young Mat whenever he calls,
To dance with Jak o' the Shadows."

Is it available globally yet? Because I'm in Canada and I can't download it.

Tell Nintendo, they might not even know about Canada yet.

I was quite surprised to find Canada was real and not a fictional country made up by South Park.
