This game has just been released in Australia, New Zealand and Japan and all I've been seeing on my Facebook is everyone talking about it, seen people at my work walking around playing it, people on the bus playing it. Yeah maybe you should wait some time before declaring it a hit. Miitomo was also declared hit and then disappeared from the charts.

I know "pokemon" and all, but so were Miis and Nintendo itself insanely popular during the Wii era.

Nah! My FB feed is dominated by it. My friends liking memes and events keeps popping up. Not sure when the last game was that done this.
