That's completley irrelevant, you are still playing the game, just because people with a NX can play it too does not translate in anything bad for the consumer.

Wow you wanna argue with me so badly you'll just completely ignore my point and cherrypick one little thing I said, color me touched!

To Wii U owners who plan getting a NX (probably most Wii U owners) like myself, it's basically a NX exclusive now since there's no point getting the inferior Wii U version even though you still can. It's just one less Wii U game to look forward to for me now.

Why would I ever leave Nintendo? Their games doesn´t become worse just because their systems doesn´t sell. In Segas twilight years as a console manufacturer, they released some of the best games they have ever made. My commitment to a publisher has never been about sales, which might explain why I have always been a fan of the system that has come in second or third in every generation :).

What kind of question is this?

They have dissapointed me, I like their games. No matter if the Wii U had sold 10-20-50-100 million consoles.

I had more fun with my N64 than GCN or Wii, so whatever, market success doesn't impact my enjoyment of a machine, especially when it doesn't really translate to anything tangiable for the consumer.

I don't think that is true. Had Wii U sold well, I bet we would have seen mainline installments to Kirby, Fire Emblem, Animal Crossing, etc., games like Ultra Smash and Starfox Zero would have been of higher quality, Pikmin 4 and Zelda BotW woulda been Wii U exclusive, and we woulda seen price cuts and remodels.

This stuff doesn't matter to me, the next Animal Crossing, Kirby, Fire Emblem, Pikmin 4 will be on NX, which I was going to buy anyway, so it doesn't matter one way or another. If anything it means I'll probably be able to enjoy those games with better graphics sooner than I would have otherwise had they just released on Wii U.

So whatever. I needed to play Mario Kart 8, Pikmin 3, Smash U, Splatoon, Mario 3D World, Bayonetta 2, so passing on a Wii U was a non-option, whatever Nintendo IP it didn't get means the NX will, so me it doesn't matter.

I buy Nintendo consoles because of their games not because console is successfule or failed, for instance I more enjoyed worst selling Nintendo console ever (WiiU) than I enjoyed their best selling console ever (Wii).

Saying that, I am certain NX will sell better than Wii U in any case.

If the NX performs as badly as the WiiU we won't see another home console from Nintendo. Hopefully they'll go third party.

My thoughts exactly.  People assume just because Nintendo has $10 billion in reserves that they will continue to burn through money trying to create another successful home console after two consecutive flops.   The fact is if NX flops that will send a clear message to Nintendo that the majority of gamers are simply not interested in their consoles anymore and they should move on.

Yup, WiiU didn't perform very well, that's why the NX is coming earlier then expected. The NX is trying to recover what the WiiU lost in terms of marketshare. If the NX fails they are not going to try again, not to mention Nintendo's already falling reputation will be shot.

I don't think the NX will perform as badly as the WiiU, but if it does Nintendo need to change their business. Whether it be going to handheld/mobile devices or releasing there games on pc/PlayStation/Xbox. If the NX sells poorly they can't continue in the home console market.

The only way Nintendo 'failed' with Wii U was in that they didn't have an answer for their droughts. They won't have that problem this time. I don't think that NX will fail. But if they did, I'll still be on board with NX. I'll stay with Nintendo as long as they make consoles.

I won't be there if they go 3rd party.

What the hell are you talking about man? I was only questioning one of your points, one specific point that made no sense to me, everything else is purely your imagination lol
