Basically, if 360 outsells ps3 three times in march, a bunch of members will receive a one week ban, and gebx will get a three month ban if it don't.
EDIT: Only in NA though. And i'm one of these members who would get banned.

The Wii isn't really unexplained. The units sell when the shipment comes in or when the stores decide to put them out on the shelves.
The PS3 increase is less dramatic, it only went up 25% or so. 360 saw a similar, but smaller, increase so it's just an increase in gamer spending for this week, I think. Perhaps in anticipation of Easter long weekend and the week of holidays that a lot of primary and secondary schools get afterward.

The bet was 3 out 4 weeks 360 > Ps3. But Gebx said he isn't worried because he expected a clean sweep 4 for 4. It wasn't a part of the bet just a prediction he made.

this is indeed the third week. Gebx wins if 360 outsells ps3 three out of four weeks, and now is 2 x 1.

Judging by the bundle selling out in some retailers in japan, the ps3 should receive a significant boost in japan when MGS4 is released(I hope).
And soriku is correct about the wii.
That is a silly bet. Sony better do well next week or BYE!!!!

If it's indeed Wii shipment, Why aren't they shipping during SSBB week? Like many others have said how Nintendo stockpile them. That part makes no sense whatsoever.
I'm waiting confirmation, Remember last time Wii hits this number, ioi came out same day saying he miscalculated. I shall not have my hopes up. ;)
