Nintendo - Invest some damn money into software development. I get that Nintendo likes being a small company; it's part of their corporate culture to micromanage everything, but you're not going anywhere in this business without games. A modest investment into a 200-person studio in the US and another 170-person studio in Europe would be enough to probably ensure at least a new big game for them in most years. I'm not asking for something unrealistic like hiring 2000 new people or something crazy like that which Nintendo would never do. This should have been done during the Wii/DS era 9-10 years ago when they were swimming in money.
Microsoft - Insist on hardware superiority no matter what. No matter what hardware Sony has, MS' should be better. Spend a little more if need be, MS is not hurting for cash. Reason being is MS must understand they are the defacto challenger, and as such they need to outdo what Sony is doing, not just be content with the status quo or even be below (no, no). The first XBox was better than the PS2, the 360 even got better multiplats a lot of the time, every XBox must be better, the spec choice on the XBox One was a mistake.
More investment in 1st/2nd party titles is needed too because Halo is not the top 5 industry franchise any longer, it's old, time to spend some money and create something new. And also while multiplat Minecraft is ok, they should take more advantage of Minecraft on XBox platforms by having exclusive content available for longer. XBox should have the best version of Minecraft period.
Sony - They are the market leader, so I think they are kinda exempt from too much criticism.
