Microsoft: Sell Xbox. Set up the Windows Store as a proper competitor to Steam and go mostly PC, with any games that would work on consoles released as a multiplat.

Nintendo: Buy Xbox. imo Nintendo are complete shit at making consoles. So by buying out a series of consoles that are already good and not adding any more anti-consumer policies to them they could finally have some success with decent consoles. That's all they'd really need to do. Buy Xbox and keep it running as it is now, except destory those 'future evil plan' files that Microsoft have been working on, and all will be good.

Sony: They need to make their own JRPG franchise. Ideally they'd take a hat filled with money over to Sakaguchi and get him to create it (and many sequels).

Worst idea ever. The day Microsoft no longer makes consoles is the day I leave gaming...

As for Sony, Sakaguchi spat on their drink and left the room when they tried to do that...

I wish MS would sell Xbox, but there's no money in hardware manufacturing and the Xbox Brand is unporfitable, so no one is trying to buy an unprofitable division where profit is made by paid online over the hardware itself.  Paid online isn't going anywhere seeing as Sony struggled to pull a profit off their gaming division without it.  There is seldom profit in hardware manufacturing.  Ever hear Nintendo fanboys brag about the GC making more of a profit than the PS2?

Why not switch to PC and play the real Microsoft platform if they left?  Not trolling, but Microsoft has never been superb in terms of gaming, it's just that Sony was awful at the begining of last gen.  MS still has duds in terms of their Windows 10 Store/Games for Windows Live, they had horrible harware reliability, ect.
