It's something I haven't seen many people talk about...is there a controller that's most comfortable to you?
For me, the Wii U pro controller has to be my favorite. Buying it a month after using the gamepad made a huge difference.

I don't know, I only have the 3DS. I still use my chinese bootleg copy of a 360 controller.

Also, I think you forgot the Steam Controller.

The only one I have a lot of experience with so far is the PS4 one, so I have to choose that one by default. Would like to try them all if I could.

I've played a fair bit with the WiiU controller and I honestly find it atrocious, though.

The Wii U GamePad feels good and offers a lot of options but the placement of L/R/ZL/ZR is super awkward. I like the stick placement on the Pro Controller but the A/X/B/Y buttons are somewhat out of reach. The PS4 controller is pretty great except for the sticks, which are too far down and too close together - something that's soured the PS experience for generations.

That leaves the best of the bunch: the Xbox One controller. Just like last gen, Xbox rules this gen with its controller. The asymmetrical sticks are comfortable and properly spaced. The buttons are raised and easy to find. The triggers and bumpers feel great. And the body of the controller is meatier than the competition.

When I get the Elite controller I suspect that'll become my favorite pretty quickly. As of now though it's the regular Xbox controller.

I love my WiiU gamepad: surfing the web with it is so simple, typing with a d-pad is painful and the touch-screen speeds things up significantly; gyro-aiming is now my preferred way of aiming, aiming with a stick feels dated; and I like playing games with it while in bed. I also really love the art people make using the stylus. The only issue is the battery life but thankfully, the recharge cable is pretty long so I just hook it up to power when battery's low.

Hope it's backwards compatible with the NX.
