Seriously, though, let's at least try to be objective and play the game first. Everybody bought into the hype on TLoU and now it's considered one of the GOAT despite being pretty meh and having some serious problems. Give it one day, just ONE more day before we start riding this game to climax. Then at least you can be taken somewhat seriously and not come off as somebody sucked into the hype machine.
And for the record my Libertalia Edition comes tomorrow, so it's not like I'm hating on the game by saying this. I just think this is incredibly premature considering how many high scoring games people end up disliking at least partially because of threads like this crowning them the king before we even play it!

Y'know, I rather not jump into conclusions before I get my hands on the game, but judging by the general consensus on Metacritic, this game might as well be the best console game of this generation so far.

All taht is of course in your opinion which is fine but don't make it seem like that is a widely shared view....And as far as the OP goes it did say by metacritic console-generation which I am thinking meant not on previous platforms.
