Not really, kind of a waste of money actually. The majority of FF fans will likely buy on opposite platform and no amount of marketing will change that.

I think it helps to maximize the minimal return they are going to get regardless. Good for them to at least put the nugget in there, even if it is for later investments and not immediate return for this one game. I mean hell, they have to start somewhere.
