It looks pretty poor, like they've just stopped caring at all a long time ago, doubly so if compared to the Battlefield 1 trailer, which was among the best I've seen this generation, short and sweet.
The main reason I want CoD to start declining is that it would cease the rewards ticking in for a developer and publisher who constantly choose the path of least resistance in their design and programming, and it would force them to utilize actual talent rather than keep boiling the same potatoes to a mushy porridge.
We know that developer like Infinity Ward have actual talent, just so sad that they're not really trying. The first two CoD games, and Modern Warfare, were all incredible games and really showed what these guys can do.
It's ironic to me that the same people who helped revolutionize the modern FPS are also the currently least innovative (along with Ubisoft) and lax of the big ones.

Not necessarily. There are many other reasons to dislike it. |
But that has nothing to do with the people that play, like and regularly buy COD
Out of the few people I know that are an actual part of the "COD market", nobody has complained. Quite the opposite. Already hyped. And not much interest in revisiting MW1 either, that bonus is not intended for them
Internet is just a sardine basement, not the real world
Always something to complain every year, whether it's outdated graphics, bad story/campaign, unbalanced MP, the setting, and it's still the best seller every year. This yearly "COD doom" gospel is as much of a joke as Liverpool being champions now
And in the end all the people who disliked the video will still buy the game.

I said it looked shite, not that it was "doomed."

It even passed the Ghostbusters Reboot trailer. The hate is strong in this one.

That was probably true until Battlefield 1 was announced
There's only 2 races: White and 'Political Agenda'
2 Genders: Male and 'Political Agenda'
2 Hairstyles for female characters: Long and 'Political Agenda'
2 Sexualities: Straight and 'Political Agenda'

Yeah, I like the idea behind BF1 far more, and Im going to end up playing that game, but make no mistake here, CoD will destroy BF1 sales wise. We have tried to burry the frnachise so many times, yet even Ghosts managed to sell incredibly well. CoD is here to stay at least one more generation as the FPS king even if we dont like it.
Vote the Mayor for Mayor!
There is always COD hate, yet it sells.
I do find the extra white noise fascinating. Where is it coming from? The even more intriguing aspect is the love for Dice all of the sudden after it got blasted its last two attempts.
Cod hate = normal. Sudden love and absolute trust for EA/Dice = not normal. It makes one wonder.
l <---- Do you mean this glitch Gribble? If not, I'll keep looking.
I am on the other side of my sig....am I warm or cold?

This year it will be different, look at the dislikes. And if activision has now to devolope two games at the same time (IW&MW4) in order to keep selling this franchise it is pretty much doomed. I mean what they are going to do next? remaster MW2, then 3 and so on?
